In this workshop, we will use the power of movement to strip ourselves bare and stand—bravely, brilliantly, battered, and beautiful—before one another. We will use a combination of 5Rhythms®, Authentic Movement, and group dialogue to engage ourselves vulnerably, courageously, and wholeheartedly. Supported by a tribe of fellow dancers, you will have an opportunity to discover hidden gems within yourself, come clean, and shine from your own authentic experience. This is a workshop to mark the turning of the calendar year, that we may move with intention, awareness, and self-compassion into what lies ahead, leaving behind the parts of us that are no longer serving. This is a workshop to admit—to yourself and others—that you’ve got the power; a workshop to remember the truth buried in your own vulnerable heart. In this space, held by tribe & by praxis, we will meet ourselves exactly where we are—there is no need to be anywhere else. All bodies, hearts, minds, and wild spirits welcome.
